Fourth of July sales

Notices
Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

Fourth of July sales

For us Americans, that is. Of course sales will be spread across the interwebz regardless of nationality.

Most retailers will likely be rolling out special deals for the holiday. What will you be shopping for? We can never have enough of anything, and already have more than we need in some categories (bibs, jerseys, tubes). What's on your midsummer (northern hemisphere) Christmas list?

1. I do need bibs.
2. I want to build a new road bike (components).
3. Tools.

What's on your list?

You can never have enough clothing.

Nutrition stuff will probably be on sale too.

I need new cycling clothes in a bad way, so that is definitely on the list. And maybe a wheelset if the couple I'm looking at happen to go on sale.

A trainer or rollers would be nice for the winter and/or rainy days when I don't feel like getting wet

I don't know about that .... I have over 15 bike jerseys and I think that is too many.
