Raleigh Sport for Dawes Lightning 1500?

Notices
Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

Raleigh Sport for Dawes Lightning 1500?

I recently bought a Raleigh Sport for my first road bike and I bought it for $499. After buying it I was turned on to a website bikesdirect.com and found a Dawes Lightning 1500 with aerobars for $495 and free shipping and no sales tax. I have two days left to return my bike if I want and get the Dawes. I need advice on whether I should return my Raleigh Sport and order the Dawes online. I would have to get it assembled and I could get it assembled for $50, overall being less than my Raleigh. Is the Dawes a better bike and worth the trade here**********?

I'd say the differences are negligible. Buy the bike you prefer. Personally I think the raleigh is a better-looking bike, but you know what they say about opinions...

First, I think your math is off. Second, I say keep the Raleigh, mainly because I own one too and I love it. If you just want aero bars then buy them and save yourself the hassle of returning, ordering, and getting the new bike assembled.
