What's your current "dream" bike?

Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

What's your current "dream" bike?

My current bike is awesome, and will probably outlast me. But I can't help but window shop
Note, I'm not buying this. I don't have the money.

BMC Team Machine SLC01 looks pretty amazing. No internal cable routing, but i understand this is for weight savings. with RED, it would be a $6,000+ dream, but a cool one nonetheless. check out the competitive cyclist review.

I like that BMC's don't have the swoopy fluid look of the Weiler/ Bianchi / Orbea, or sloping top tubes like a Tarmac. Industrial / skeletal design, exposed non-cosmetic - Cool stuff.

so what's yours and why?

if you feel compelled to post your feelings about how some people have "too much money and should ride more" do it elsewhere please.

It used to be a Pinarello Prince, but now I've moved up to a Dogma with Di2.

Di2 for me is kind of like lasic eye surgery. I'm sure it's great, but I'd like a bit more time to pass for it to mature and trickle down.

Bikes: 2010 CAAD9 4 w/ Mavic Kysrium Elite Wheel Upgrade

+1 for BMC. I'm a noobie and I ended up getting a 2010 CAAD9-4, no slouch of a bike and 1000x better than the 1990's vintage Ross bike was riding prior. But if I had the money I'd definitely go for BMC.

Close second would a Pinerello or Cervelo.

My current bike because it fits, rides great and looks nice. BMC makes nice bikes and that Team Machine is a looker; I have a BMC as well and love riding it as much as my Orbea.

Time RXR, Reynolds or Edge wheels:

Probably pick the white one, though the black VIP model is also appealing to me...

Though if it came down to it, I'd pick the one that has that motor Fabian Cancellara was using.

The one I ordered from C'dale 3 months ago. Seems like a dream right now. 2010 Supersix frameset, red group. I guess the dream would be upgrade to 404's (or equiv), Si/Sl crank with Cinqo PM.

When it comes time to get yet another Pinarello......................the carbon Dogma.

My current dream bike is still treating me too good to be cheating on her.

Top of the line Pinarellos are worth every penny IMO.

pft... I'd be pretty darn happy with about anything 2500-3k could buy... unlimited budget? I can't argue the beauty of the pinarello, they sure are purdy...

I'd like a 650c bike in a proper 51cm size.
or a light weight 26" wheeled bike that has road geometry.

Yep, that's the one. It just looks fast (until I get on it). Only $10,328 at Competitive Cyclist. Got to go buy my Lotto ticket now.

I have a few (and there are 7 days in a week, right!) and these are not necessarily in any order.

All will be in a matte (or gloss) black colour with (unsubtle decals so they don't stand out like a sore thumb) with Dura-Ace and a light weight wheelset for climbing.

Serotta HSG Custom Carbon;
BMC Impec (ONLY THE BLACK ONE);
Wilier Superleggura;
Baum (or insert something better here) Custom Ti - (unpainted & polished);
Specialized Project Black;
Scott CR1 Team (with upgrades );
Colnago EPS.

Do I really only have to choose these - Can't I have more!!!!!!!!!!
