?woman saddle to man use?

Notices
Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

Why? Is there a "sit-bone" width problem?

He's saying men using women's saddles. So yes, that would be a guy's name.

The only real functional difference between womens saddles and mens saddles is that womens tend to be wider than mens. Some designs have the womens saddle a bit shorter as well.

I've rode the womens version of the Toupe while i was checking a female friend's bike for creaks. It was very uncomfortable but i have nothing to compare it aganst because i've not rode a on a Toupe yet.

It depends on your sit bone width and yes men can have wide sit bones too. I'm currently using a Fizik Vitesse womans saddle on my road bike and its fine but I'm thinking of going for something in the middle. I'm OK with it but its probably a tiny bit wide for me.
