designing my jersey for Tour de Tucson, Question:

Notices
Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

designing my jersey for Tour de Tucson, Question:

OK, i think it was posted here before but in case it wasnt.....

I am riding in "el Tour de Tucson" and i understand there is a lot of people that ride there.

I would like to wear a kit that i have been starting to design, with my company name....I know that there are certain team kit rules that one must follow, but do i need to follow them when it is just me? I doubt it that any more people would want to wear a kit similar to mine, or one with my company logo on it.....

can someone please advise me? I think it would be cool, to wear my company logo on a kit, but if it is ilegal, unethical or unprofessional, obviously that idea will have to be put aside.

Thanks!

You can wear whatever you want. Some rules apply in USAC-sanctioned races, but even those are rarely enforced.

I've seen people 'sponsor' themselves, and deduct travel expenses as 'promotional' expenses....
