2011 Kestrel

Notices
Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

Fine, so maybe I did buy my Allez for the cool curves, but I did it for performance! It helps me ride better!

Oval wheels? That's a crazy concept. Personally I'll stick to circular ones to be safe.
But a circle is an oval in which all the foci intersect at one point.

The 2011 SL3 Specialized Roubaix will come in orange and the Allez will come in blue. But you are right, they don't seem to come in other varieties of color.

It's a better looking bike, the slightly older 2010 model of Kestrel that you have. I'd be interested in one, but the concern is that since the seatpost is a propietary Kestrel post you can't replace it with another manufacturer's seatpost. It doesn't look like the seatpost has much setback so if you wanted to move your saddle very far back, you would be kinda limited on that seatpost.

Are you smoking crack?!

The Fuji and any Kestrel on the page look nothing alike. Not in color, shape, or anything.

They've put up a few on their facebook page. Slowly leaking them until Interbike I imagine.

I guess not so much the tubing shapes, but the aggressively sloped top tube on the kestrel is a departure from their usual horizontal or minimally sloped top tube (and I don't like it).

Haha! Oh ok. I hadn't looked at it that way, but I suppose if you did you could say that there was some resemblance with the wheels being the same.

Where is the Fuji 2011 Facebook page with the new pics?
