Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

I certainly hope you dispensed a serving of HTFU. When I was on vacation in Ecuador we went to a beach that from far looked like it had red sand until we got closer and I realized that what was causing that were the thousands of land crabs all over the beach. My cousins and uncle ran toward the water as the crabs retreated toward the caves and into the surf. I was horrified at the prospect of having to jump into crab infested water but didn't want to get teased endlessly for being the sissy gringo so in I went.

Say, can we turn this into a 41 Eating Status? The food will certainly entertain heightened fat count and subsequent calories...

It's almost funny looking back and being a kid in high school at maybe 145 lbs and flabby. Wanting to be one of the tough jock guys, only to now be 21 and 155 lbs trying to lose more weight. I am too fat for this sport

I have the build... but not the power or ability. It's a cruel world at times.

If you are sedentary, the carbs you ingest turn into bubbling fat. If you are decently active, then eating carbs won't make you fat.

It's all about balance folks. Eat simple things, cook your own food, and lay off the soda. You would be amazed at how easy it is to stay healthy if you just do that much.

I'm telling you that whatever your notion of how many calories you need, it's inflated, much like your pathetic Fred asses.

Eff me. As if that even needed to be said.

I will now STFU and ride my bike.
Since you never weigh yourself, how do you know you weigh 170lbs?
