New Saddle choices

Hola! Putting a new bike together and was looking for feedback regarding saddles. I currently
ride a Fizik Alliante. It's 'OK' comfort wise, but I am looking for any suggestions from you folks.
I am a 54 year old performance/rec rider.

Thanks in advance.

Specialized Toupe is another option.

I personally found the Nashbar GR2 very comfortable, for a cheap $35 price! It's not as durable as the Specialized/Fizik, but is super comfortable.

I'm 65 and am thoroughly enjoying the Specialized Phenom I bought last April. :thumb:

I had the Phenom but found it way to flexible. Some may prefer this but after 50 miles my ass would hate me. I have an Arione now that I love but it may not work for you - it is super stiff.

I know my LBS has the Specialized and Fizik saddles for test rides and there's a shop in Pasadena that has the Selle Italia saddles as well. I would look around that area and find dealers for these and give a few a try for a week.

Try the Specialized Avatar gel, or the Romin gel.

I have the Fizik Antares on my road bike and the Aliante on my SS; I love both of them for either application. The Specialized Toupe is another nice option, plus it comes in three different sizes.

+1 for the Avatar.
