As promised new pics of my build

Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

Nice bike! If there's any frames left next spring I might replace my Boreas with one like yours. The Med size is just a tiny bit long for my taste and will probably just drop down a size.

Looks great. I don't understand the concept of white bar tape/seat and black hoods. No one ever accused me of having any fashion sense, and unless the white tape is easily cleanable, it strikes me as being a lot of work. What would you think of red hoods?

Thanks yall and actually as long as you clean the bar tape as it gets dirty it stays white. just use 1-10 mix ratio with bleach to water. i actually really like CAAD9's but i see to many of them, so i had to be different. i have yet to see a ridley here period. ive got $1249 into this bike with everything being brand new

Frame-499
Grouppo-350
Wheels-190
Seatpost, Stem, & Handlebars-80
Saddle-30
Misc Items-100

That's an awesome deal on a fantastic looking bike. I love the shape of the tubes. How is the ride? Is the frame pretty stiff?

Sweet bike by the way. My ridley with 6700 derailleur/9sp dura ace shifters/sram force crank/thomson post ended up costing me sub $700.

it has no flex and absorbs the road vibrations like carbon. i have owned many bikes and this is the closest to carbon feel. i'll keep this bike for along time. best build i have done yet.

You know your own fit better than I, but aren't those brifters a little high? ...maybe it's just me.

Nice looking bike.

My buddy hooked me up with that deal

I like them pitched up since i ride on the hoods 95% of the time. For some reason if i ride with them level my wrists start to bother me.
