Handlebar question
 

Its the standard measurement for handlebars 42cm (c-c), 140mm drop and 90 mm reach? im looking into getting the fsa wing pro compact which are 125mm drop and 80mm reach. anyone done this swap? i was watching the comp cyclist review of these drops and the guy said he felt more comfortable in the drops which is what im looking for. im not the most flexible guy in the world and im looking for more comfort in the drops. anyone else have similar results with the compact handle bars?

compact bars totally changed my riding style. i'm using the drops way more now than i ever did, for the price of admission, they are definitely worth giving a shot, i was skeptical, but very very surprised at how comfortable they were for me.

(there is no real "standard" for road bars though)

I had the wing pro ergo (normal size) on both of my bikes. Swapped to the wing pro compact for one bike, and liked it so much I did the same for bike #2. The shortened reach took some getting used to-not as much room on the bars before the hoods-but the shallower drop means I can actually use the drops more often (read:I'm not too flexible, either).
