Slowest for me is around... 5-6 mph? That was touring, with about 35-40 lbs of gear.
If your gearing is set up low enough, you can get down to 3-4 mph (walking speed) on a climb. Some tourers prefer that approach, I'd rather just walk at that point.

That would take pro-level power to go that fast up a 27% grade for that long. Likely either the speed, the grade, or the distance is being over-estimated...

Even by BF standards, this is daft. Even if you can't trackstand, you should be able to keep the bike vertical at 1 - 2 mph. Jesus.
I occasionally help with coaching kids. A useful drill is having them race across a car park, with the winner being the one who can do it slowest. You should try it.

Yep, I as soon as I posted it I thought it is really only a like .15 miles, but the speed and the grade are pulled from my Garmin. I don't think the it averages 27%, but the grade feature on my Garmin says 27% when I quickly glance down. Last time I rode up the hill it was at 9 mph (according to my connect file).

Slowest I've ever gone up a hill is about 30 mph, but that was on my old bike, which was pretty heavy. Honestly, if I wanted to putter along up hills at 8 mph, I'd go post over in the commuting forum.
Now if you ask about down the other side of the hill, my CX bike isn't the best descender ( wobbly rear wheel ), so I never made any sonic booms with it.
