2010 trek 1.2 vs 2011 trek 1.2 vs. 2011 trek 1.5?
So I have had a couple threads recently and I want to thank everyone for their great advice. I am starting another question to get more direct answers. So here it is... I went to the local bike shop... There is a 2010 trek 1.2 ($799), 2011 trek 1.2 ($830) and a 2011 trek 1.5 ($1000). I can afford the 2011 trek 1.5, but is it worth the money for the upgrade? What is the difference between the 2010 and 2011 1.2? I will be taking them for rides but since they are the same frame, i dont think theres much other than the shifters and components. Please feel free to make any comments or give any advice. You guys have made this so easy! Thank you!

I'm too lazy to google the spec's...( gotta go wash and wax the new vintage bike purchase)
Put up the specs and we'll give you a decent answer.

I like the shifters you get with Tiagra better than the thumb shifters of the Sora.

Ditto that, although the I think the more significant upgrade with Tiagra is the ergonomics of the whole lever assembly. They're angled to the outside just like Dura-Ace 7800, giving the sensation of a shorter throw for shifting and simply falling under your fingers more naturally for better brake control.

1.5 hands down.
Mostly Tiagra where it matters.
Carbon seat post vs alloy.
Worth the $170. difference.
