BMC's 2011 Lineup is online

Notices
Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

BMC's 2011 Lineup is online

It looks as if they took their 2010 models, threw them in a blender, reassembled, and made a couple extras with spare parts...

Seems like they're covering the performance level spectrum a bit better however. At any rate they're all hot.

https://www.bmc-racing.com/int-en/bikes/2011/road.html

No idea on pricing yet, but I saw in another forum we're lookin' at November release dates.

Ooh... Nice white/red/black color scheme on the RaceMachine. Looks like it's based on the shifter color scheme of SRAM Red.

The color schemes on the '11s are pretty minimal with a heavy focus on black but since I like black bikes it's not bad at all.

Ah the racemaster is gone. Too bad, seems like no one wants an aluminum/carbon bike these days.

I'm thinking about picking up one of the all-black roadracer framesets for my backup bike. Those new paint schemes are a huge improvement over the last two years.

Road Racer is all carbon now.

I got to ride one at a dealer event recently. Pretty sweet.

Did anyone notice that when you look at the specs of the bikes that the little icons are the same as Cannondale's for the bike parts?

Yeah I talked to the rep at a similar dealer event and he said the same thing. It's confusing though since their blurb on the detail page for the Roadracer still talks about an aluminum main triangle.

Yeah, the description on the website is what threw me off.

Waiting patiently to find the price on the Race Machine frameset. Supposedly cheaper than Team Machine, but stiffer and only a little heavier.

If I had to guess I'd say $2,600 frameset. Thats what the Pro Machine went for.

IMO none of the current range comes close in terms of looks.

I think it will go down as a classic. Landis finished first on his back in 2006, 5 years is a long time ago in bike terms.
