Under stem headlight mount?

The days are getting short, and I'm going to need a headlight soon. I was wondering if a light exists that hangs under the stem. I suppose it might shine on the front wheel a bit, but it would be really nice to get it out of the way. Wait...maybe I should patent this!

why don't you take your current light and.... turn it upside down?

Unless you're dealing with a highly asymmetrical throw pattern, you'll be good to go.

Get one of those clamp-on bar extensions (they're like a handlebar tube that clamps parallel to the bars to give you more "dashboard" space), and clamp it below the bars.

Curious, why below?

Just kind of gets in the way I guess. I already have a cycle-computer on the top of the stem. It would also look better and be more aerodynamic (for what it's worth) hanging in front of the head tube like that. I was just wondering if there was already a solution.

In general, I think you get better visibility the closer the light is to your line of sight ... less shadows. Over/Under might not make much difference, but I mount mine above.
