Garmin .gpx to .tcx question

Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

Garmin .gpx to .tcx question

I have a .gpx file that I can't seem to load into my Garmin 705 so I can see a course. I think it needs to be a .tcx. Is there a way to convert this?

Heading to Cycle Oregon and figured I load the course in the 705.

Thanks

You should be able to load the GPX, they just go in a different folder.

But GPSBabel should be able to convert it.

Why don't you tell the rest of us. This is something I've had issues with in the past, but it has been some time since I've done it last.
