Considering buying this as my first road bike

Notices
Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

Why are there never buys like this near me? I'm needing a decent used road bike for under $300 for my son and it's nearly impossible to find anything besides really old or stuff or simply junk.

I'd buy it!

If it fits and doesn't have any problems, that's a really good deal.

If it fit me and was near me, I would buy it as fast as I could. I don't think you will find that kind of deal for that price very often.
