[QUOTE=JoeyC68;13645454]I replaced my "hunting safety" orange bar tape with some black Fizik tape. I like it and think it gose with my bike well.QUOTE]
When I first saw this colour scheme I didn't like it, but its grown on me. I like that you changed the tape to black, I think it balances having too much colour. Overall, looks nice!

Maybe just a subtle pinstripe around the outside of
the oval graphic surrounding the lettering "Premium"?

Thanks! Yes, I think the black tape keeps the whole package from being overwhelming. The grey fizik print matches the that of the shifters, stem, and seatpost.

Thinking of selling my CAAD9-7 BBQ black, full rival, fulcrum 7, specialized toupe saddle, original seat post and fork. I have no idea what i shold sell the bike for, definitely not what I would like to get. I think I should keep it and put it in my bike museum.
Problem is I love my BMC, and I want another one. Wife won't let me get a 3rd road bike.
Maybe I should sell the wife?

How Low Can You Go, Answered
A few posts back we were talking about just how light a "weight weenie" could take a CAAD10. The link is to a September, 2010 peice that Velo News ran. Take a look at the 15 pictures that acompany the ariticle. For the product launch - Cannondale built a "not for sale" CAAD10 Ultimate. It came in at 6.3 kilos (13.88 lbs). Quite impressive IMO. I also very much like the balck paint/graphics. A very stealth touch and one I wish was available. Some of you may have seen this article, if so: sorry to rehash. Enjoy folks:

https://velonews.competitor.com/2010/...-caad10_143376

This Cannondale CAAD10 was built with the not-for-sale Ultimate all-aluminum package. It weighed just 6.3 kilograms.

Pulled the trigger on one of these in 54cm:

CAAD10 5, $1,199
I kind of like the gray accents in the 2012 model, but I don't think I could've waited any longer >_<:

The top cap is interesting, to say the least. Definitely different than what I'm used to on my FG. I also tried seeing what it'd be like if I slammed the stem. Is it normal for the shifter/brake cables to feel a little squashed (considering the entire handlebar's being lowered quite a bit)?

Will I get the smack down for posting a for sale link from another forum?
It's not my item but is relevant to the interests of this thread.

The gray accents are definitely starting to get to me, but I don't see any point in swapping frames on a bike I just got, heh.

As to the top cap: did you have an all carbon fork previously? All carbon forks don't use a star nut as it will tear-up the carbon fiber in the steerer tube. I like the cap and think it provides a finished look.
congrats on your new bike!

Lowering the stem shouldn't bunch the cables to bad.
