I don't like the colors, paint schemes, of the CAAD12s. I'll stick with my 2 CAAD10s

Yeah it seemed all good, but I am rethinking. I have a Caad12 Etap bike. In the end, if I make the move to disc, I am thinking I would want Etap disc setup. The DA9100 is more than likely buttery smooth, and the frame color is pretty awesome. I may look at buying the frame and swapping my Etap derailleurs over...
Ouch... my knees.

Yeah... I have the OJ Etap now. I am thinking where I ride disc would be awesome. Going to the shop tomorrow. They called and offered me a 2017 Scott Addict premium for $2300 so i've been doing math for a few days lol.. Just not sure you can beat the Caad for what you get for the price.

After a solid 1500 miles and several attempts to get the BB to stop clicking, my CAAD12 is getting parted out, we are done here. I'm going to just ride the Stigmata everywhere. I tried everything under the sun to fix this short of line-boring the BB which is not round, I'm just going to move on.

On second thought, it was poorly installed pedal washers so it doesn't creak at all, lol. Wow, that's embarrassing.

I still have problems with my hands going numb on the R8000 levers.
I hate to admit it, but I never thought to even consider the washers after torquing them since they were installed by the fitter. Oh well, I'd rather admit to my faults than hide them or defame a quality product.

The carbon steerer tube on my 2011 CAAD 10 sheared in half. Fortunately I wasn’t seriously injured. Anyway I’m using the occasion to buy a new bike while I source a new fork. I like to ride all day on 50-100 mile rides. The bike shops want to sell me an endurance bike, but I didn’t feel like I had an issue with the CAAD which is more racing geometry. If you have a CAAD and an endurance bike, like a Roubaix, Domane, Infinito, I’d like to hear your experience and how the endurance bike differs.

I started with a synapse as my first bike, then wanted something that felt faster. I also felt like I was too "compacted" on the synapse if that makes sense. I thought I would alternate between my caad12 and synapse like I've done with running shoes. I haven't found myself wanting to ride the synapse at all in a year though. It feels super upright and 10x heavier now. I'm looking to sell it actually because it is just collecting dust now.

I decided to go with a racier geometry rather than the endurance bike. I’m going with a cervelo r5.

I'll show some Caad8 love since I don't see many in here. I recently picked this on on Craigslist for a couple hundred bucks. It was my size and I loved the frame and paint. It's going to replace my backup road/ trainer bike. I swapped over a bunch of stuff, nicer wheelset/tires, saddle/carbon post, pedals, cages and others. New cables and bartape in black. I upgraded the brakes to 105 after 2 rides and one terrifying decent. Rides great now, I'm happy with it, before and after

Hi
Im wondering if anyone has fitted a Silca frame pump into a CAAD12? I’d love to see what it looks like if you have.
Thanks for your time
