I heard of them a few months ago from an LBS and promptly forgot about them when I saw how little they saved and how much they cost. My regular 7900 pedals are good enough.

Pedals is the one place I don't mind cheap. I have 3 bikes. One has Dura Ace pedals, one ultegra and the other a new set of black 105's bought at performance bikes for $99.00. I couldn't tell the difference to save my life..I started with the Dura Ace and went down from there.

I was expecting my Dura Ace 7800 Chainrings along with my SwissStop GHP2 Green Pads. Nothing too exciting.
Instead, I opened the box and got this...

247 grams (7 grams "more" than my $39. Wellgo MG-8 pedals).
$209./shipped

I was all set on getting a pair of 7810 pedals.
But when I saw the 7900s in some good pictures, that changed.
In person, they have a matte finish that matches my BBQ CAAD9 nicely.
They are going to look so much better than the "tan" pedals I have on their now.
They should be easy to clip in and out of at lights as they always swing to 6 and 12 o'clock.
They are a full inch longer and 3/4" wider than my current pedals SPDs.
That's excellent. I'd gladly give up the 7 grams for a much wider platform.
Looks like the SPD-SL cleats/wider pedal combo are going to be perfect.
I'm expecting great things from this pedal set.
I'll have all this mounted (including the chainrings) this weekend and of course, will post pics then.
Damn Shimano makes great stuff. You just can't go wrong with Dura Ace.
