Especially on shorts, I'd love to get several more pair but I keep finding myself wanting to go my not so local LBS just because I like my stuff to fit just right. I'm usually right in between small and medium. How do you guys buy cycling gear online? Lots of disposable income so you just don't care if it doesn't fit?
I definitely need tights or cycling pants asap. 40 degree mornings aren't so pleasant.

The last time I had this issue I ordered both sizes and mailed back the one that didn't fit. It was like $3 to ship back.

I'm not concerned about cycling clothing. It all stretches. I'm between medium and large. Some of my stiff is tight and some isn't. Who cares when everyone is hot and sweaty?
I found out that PI shorts in medium fits me fine so when it's on sale, either at a LBS or online, I buy them.

The reason you see so much "worn once" and "like new" stuff on EBay is that someone bought their cycling clothes on the internet and it didn't fit. The size charts you see on-line are vague suggestions at best.
My advice is to buy at least one outfit from a local bike shop where you can try it on for size before you buy. Then next time buy the same brand and size on-line. Also, other brands from the same country will often fit similarly.
