Buying a used bike for my trip - what do you think of these deals?

Notices
Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

Buying a used bike for my trip - what do you think of these deals?

I go to Italy every year to visit family for about 5 weeks. I want to pick up a cheap ( about $600 USD ) road bike there to ride and keep some fitness, and to use on subsequent trips. I came across these two, and was wondering you some of you could give me some advice/opinions/etc.

#1 - $540USD - WILIER TRIESTINA with Campy Veloce group. Bike looks nice.

#2 - $620USD - Hurricane ( Never heard of - perhaps some type of Italian form of Bikes Direct? ). Comes with full Tiagra it seems.https://cgi.ebay.it/NEW-2010-HURRICAN...item4152e6275a

Out of these two, which would you choose? The new bike, or the older Willier? I kind of like the frame on that Willier, but know nothing about old bikes. Also, is Tiagra or Sora the grouppo that is below Shimano 105? What can I expect as far as shifting performance and reliability from that Tiagra equipped bike ( #2 )?

I still have about a month or so before I head over there, but I'm trying to locate a bike before it gets too late.

I've considered buying something here, but the hassle of lugging a bike box through 2 airports along with the roughly $200Euro in charges by the airlines makes it pretty much as, or more expensive, than just buying something there.

Thanks for any help!!!

John

How would you describe the price on the Willier - good, fair, etc?

Anyone else?

Thanks

bump.

Does anyone know anything about the older Campy Veloce grouppo? I'm assuming that this Willier is a early 90's, and know absolutely nothing about the older ( basically anything older than 2009 since I've only been into cycling that long ) groupsets.

Thanks!!
