OK here's how it goes.... you can only have one model per part for your bike build. How would your combo be?
I'll start first.
2200: Front Derailleur
Sora: Rear derailleur
Tiagra: Hubs
105: Brakes
Ultegra: Shifters
Dura Ace: Crankset (need it light!)
Sorry Campy and SRAM play elsewhere...

What's typically the most expensive part? Shifter or cranks? I would line up parts from most expensive to least, and the have Dura Ace on the most expensive item, and move down the line.

Bike ≠ Car ≠ Ped.
Hmmmmm....
2200: Brakes
Sora: FD
Tiagra: Crank
105: Hubs
Ultegra: RD
Dura Ace: Shifters
I kinda wonder if this combo would work, though (namely the shifters, FD, and crank)...

The largest performance difference I've seen between lines seem to be the shifters and rear derailleur. The rest is mostly a weight penalty.
All the combos should work because you just have to match the cassette to the shifters and the rest should be doable.

Never said that I'd use the 2200 pads...
*edit* Hang on -- they don't even HAVE brakes in the 2200 series? Crap...
