Fall in New England

Notices
Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

OP, by chance did you use some sort of GPS device and can post this ride? I'm coming up that way on thursday and may be interested in checking it out

Nice fall shots. I am stuck in another part of the world. Not in MA.. Got to get back to home...so I can rake leaves and ride the bike!

Cheers,

Essex

I've been off the road bike for the past week since the leaf peepers have shown up, but the riding in my area is quite breathtaking in the fall.

+1 to the Kanc riders. If you get a chance you should try a few of the lesser traveled routes in the area, Evans Notch, Bear Notch, Franconia Notch etc etc.

I did. Here's the general route...this isn't the exact route (I edited out the beginning and ending couple of miles, so it wouldn't be starting/ending in my driveway), but it covers the key part of the route through the senic areas.
