What's the dumbest thing in Road Cycling today?

Notices
Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

What's the dumbest thing in Road Cycling today?

I have my own ideas, but all in good time. What do you think is the dumbest thing in cycling today?

Pcad Bonus Points for photos by the way.

This struck me as a long overdue thread for this stupid place by the way.

40mm deep aluminum rims.
I thought 30mm was practical, but 40mm is just dumb.

carbon rims with less than 30mm profile are also dumb.
