and the winner is... MASI
After looking, riding, researching bikes for the past 4 months. I went to the bike shop today to pick up a 2011 felt f85. I always have wanted a felt and I really don't know why. I took it for another test ride and I also rode the 2011 MASI Vincere. As much as I wanted the felt f85, the MASI just felt right. The more I rode the micro shift on the felt, the less I liked it. The full tiagra on the MASI was nice and smooth. any way, I ended up making a good deal on the bike, and ended up taking it home. So even though I thought the felt was "my" bike, it ended up not...
will post pictures later.

One of my LBS's was recommending the 3VC105. He seems to really like the Masi's. Congrats. Pix or it didn't happen!

rode 28 miles on the new bike this morning. This is the first true road bike I have, and I had a little bit of low back discomfort. Will this go away as I get used to riding a road bike rather than my hardtail? I was fit for the bike at the shop, and found that I rathered the seat a little more forward than suggested. Other than that, the bike was great. My old flat bar road bike was all aluminum, and the masi has a carbon fork, carbon seat stays and carbon seat post. I really notice the vibration dampening.
Any ideas?

If the saddle height is correct, you may have to lift the bars a bit if the pain doesn't go away after riding for a while. BTW, I think you made the better choice because of the CF stays. Enjoy the bike, it's a nice one.

If you ride regularly, you should gain a some flexibility in your back.
I'd carry some allen wrenches or a multitool handy for a couple weeks to make minor fit adjustments.
What about the Carlsbad Masis? Are those good enough for you?

masis made by haro are disgusting.

those deserve the masi signature. how do you write failero in mandarin?
theres nothing wrong with taiwanese manufacturing, but to posture like haro masis have anything to do with milan is just doing the bikedirect thing without the low prices.

I was looking at the new Masi Evoluzione. The team issue (black/white) frame is very good looking. The bike itself was a bit out of my price range though. Now go ride the wheels off that thing.

love the color scheme. great looking bike. enjoy!
you will definitely be sore in some strange places as you adjust to new bike. keep stretching and maybe get refit at lbs.
