Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

Cycling desktop wallpaper

Looking for a cool desktop wallpaper that's cycling related. Good landscape. Can be a lone rider, a peloton of racers, a sweet picture of Lance Armstrong climbing, etc. Just something that's really striking. Haven't found much on Google. Post what you have!

I have the Cervelo S3 right now. Before I had a vintage TdF one...but it is long lost to the mighty internet.

Just get clever with your search. There are millions of Lance wp's btw. Simple, dramatic bike shots? Well, stock photo sites sometimes, but race photogs, etc. Not dedicated wp's, but often functional (because even the samples are super high-res and of large dimension)

You could always make your own series.

There are some fantastic photos in different threads on Bike Forums (eg Empty Road Ahead Photos etc). THis way, you can set it up to change photos every 5+ minutes.....

I also like this one, almost like a behind the scenes pic of Zabriskie from 09 championships. Just a cool wallpaper in my opinion.

I'm a crappy photographer, and most shots of me aren't taken or posted in a resolution that would work for wallpaper, but yeah that would be cool.

Specialized had a bunch during the TDF. 21 Wallpapers for 21 Stages...

You'll have to look at each title, working backwards...you should be able to figure it out based on the link below.
