Edco competition hubs

I just found by the curb a 700C with worn out single walled rim that is still true, would work as a back-up wheel I guess. Then I thought maybe someday I can rebuild it because it has decent SS spokes (wheelsmith) and the hub looks pretty decent, it's an Edco. Sealed bearing, Quick release, spins fine.

Would this hub be worth the labor? It's an Edco Competition the rim is an Araya, with a Wheelsmith sticker. Were/are they some sort of USA builder?

Edco is still around. Swiss company. Very nice hub worth saving IMO.

Edco hubs are/were nice.

In general I wouldn't reuse spokes, unless you just built the wheel.
