Purple Roubaix
 

I saw someone riding what appeared to be a Roubaix the other day but it was Purple? was this some floor model that he bought on clearance or are there limited edition colors we dont know about?

Specialized made a limited number in the purple frames, I think it was in 2009, which they used at shows and special events, and as Demos, and then sold them off at the end of the year. My wife has one too. Great looking frame.

I believe 2009 test bikes were purple. 2010 test bikes are red. Dunno about 2011.

That is correct, I got one, paid $2300 for it (instead of $3700).

Damn that's purple... My girlfriend said it looks awesome.

they seem to pop up on ebay every week or so...

Not the best color as far as trying to sell them, but I loved that color.
