One.
The other one is ridden on the road, but isn't a road bike.

Just one road bike. My other bike is an old mountain bike, which is more like a hybrid (no suspension, slicks). I use it as my commuter. The other bike is a single speed mountain bike.
I used to have a road bike ('89 Bianchi Brava) as a commuter and my roadie road bike.

One and a half? How can you have half a bike?
I have one Ti road bike, one steel road bike, and a SS/FG with fenders (commuter) which I guess still qualifies.
Also a recumbent which surely does not qualify in the eyes of the 41.
So that makes 3.

That's a bike with a single seat, as contrasted with a tandem, I.e. full bike

One road bike, and one cyclocross bike. The CX is almost a road bike; most people would recognize it as one. But it's too heavy and the steering is too drunken for it to be a true road bike, plus I can crash it in the dirt. ( Or ride dirt trails without crashing... )

Well the reason I said one and a half is because I have an old Peugeot that needs wheels and a stem.. I got it for ten bucks at a yard sale a few years back. Its pretty sweet
