Riding While Injured

Possibly broken but extremely bruised big toe, I dropped a weight on my toe at work yesterday and I'd hate to pass up a perfect 60+ deg day in Nov. in the northeast.

Should I HTFU and go for a ride later?

Survey says "HTFU"

just test it around in the neighbored.

Go for it, but listen to your body and stop if it's really giving you troubles.. No sense aggravating an injury.

JonnyV 11-13-10 09:05 AM

chop it off, keep riding.

silly question. is the pope catholic?

dennisa, If the toe isn't swollen and a quick test doesn't inflame it, go ahead. A real rider wouldn't have asked. They'd gone ahead and cut a hole out of their expensive shoes and ridden! :)

I just had neuroma surgery on Tuesday....both feet. I'm off the bike for 2 weeks with zero hope of riding and the weather here has been STELLAR!!!! If you can do it with no pain I say GO!!!
