Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

OCP Question

Ok, so I got some bday cash and decided to build a set of tubular wheels. I really like Ambrosio so I picked up a set of Nemesis rims. The lettering on the rims can only be read one way. This is obviously not a problem on the front wheel since I can simply flip the wheel. But from which side should the lettering be readable on the rear wheel; drive side or non-drive side?

Decisions, decisions!

You absolutely have to make sure that the labels on the hub match up at the same spot as the decals on the rim.

Drive side... in alignment with the valve stem. If the tire has a label on the across from the tire make sure they're both lined up with the valve stem.

If there is only one label, and you've got it on the non-drive side, chances are the tire is on backwards.
