Mavic K10s?

Notices
Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

Mavic K10s?

Any have any experience with these? They're up for sale on bonktown right now.

Btw, this is my first post. I've been trolling for months now

No experience with them, but I'd shy away because of the proprietary tires.

You mean lurking. Trolling is a whole different thing. Some are better at it than others.

Tires are made for Mavic by I think Conti, but am not sure. Either way, they're a top of the line tire and all that I know with this combo has loved it. FYI, I spend summer months working in a bike shop.

They come with Mavic tires, but they are interchangeable according to my LBS

Trolling is the term we used back on the ign forums when I was stuck on MMORPGs

Not proprietary tires. Can swap out with any standard 700c clincher. Google around and most sites say tires are made by vittoria.

This is the magic of Mavic marketing. They claim to be selling a wheel "system" -- a set of tubes and tires that are designed to work in conjunction with the wheel. Reviews say that tires are high quality, but probably not too much different than other high quality tires from other manufacturers
