That one "have to have" piece...

Notices
Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

That one "have to have" piece...

Right now, I'm lusting for one particular bit for my bike
(a Carbon Fi'zi:k Cyrano Seat Post).

What's "your" next lust piece?

A yellow Turbo saddle. My first bike came with one, but that was destroyed in a collision.

I literally think about that damn post how good it's going to look on my CAAD.
More than anything in life right now, that $150. part would make me so happy.

Thinking about it, I realized something; I've gotten that giddy feeling for the seemingly silliest things (Genuine Innovations
Air Chuck, just about anything that I've purchased from Lezyne, my K-Wings, my Microtex tape, Prolight helmet, etc...).

I like that. I like that I can still get excited about something and have
something to look forward to (especially in the mail) at 41 years old.

Crap...next on my list after the seat post...Dura-Ace 7900 pedals.
My wheelset is going to have to wait until the Spring.

It never ends.
