Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

Any Suggestions?

I recently ordered a Giant Defy 4 road bike for commuting and long rides on the weekends, and after reading through some reviews it seems to be a really good bike. However all of the reviews mentioned that the wheels aren't very good and that the tyres have nearly zero puntcure resistance. So I was wondering if anyone could suggest any decent reasonably priced tyres and wheels, 700c.

Thanks

if it were me, i'd roll with the stock wheels/tires for commuting. but if you insist on upgrading, the mavic aksium race is a good all-around wheelset, and many people like continental gp 4000 tires (with michelin pro race 3 also highly regarded).
