What do you think about these wheels?

Notices
Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

they're heavy 2000+gms and only have 2 bearings in the rear hub. you'd be better off finding some Mavic Akisium Race for ~ $200.

I was thinking about the Forte Titan wheels as well. I'll check out the Mavics.

I have the Vuelta Corsa Lites (1,200 miles now) with no problems. I would stay away from the paired spokes system. Before these Vuelta's I rode on Bontrager Race Lites one wrong seam in the road and they were done, after 1.5 years. The paired spokes gap played a big role in their demise. The bike shop had 3 other wheels in similar condition.

If you want the Vuelta wheelset ... spend a little more and upgrade to the VUELTA XRP TEAM SL ROAD BIKE WHEELSET. These are light weight wheels, 1533g per set

Definitely Titans if you want a good budget set. I checked the tension and true when I got mine, and they didn't need any adjustments. I rode them plenty of miles and on some pretty crappy roads without any issue. I also know someone weighing 220+ lb who rode them without problem. I only got rid of them because I saved up enough $$$ to build my sub 1400g climbing set.

I just like the black and low spoke count look. $300 is out of my price range. Think I'll stick with the Forte Titans.

Everyone seems to have good things to say about the Titans.
