There is no Evolution 13 yet. At any rate I will compare the Evo VIII/IX to the CAAD9 and the radical changes made in the Evo X to the CAAD10. And I feel blessed to have both 10's. Both are fun to drive but if I have to choose one right now I will have to pick the CAAD10 over the Evo X LOL.

OMG, the coincidence!
I was thinking about the same thing today
It seems to happen so often lately: I'm thinking about something and later that day I see a thread about it on the first page on one of the forums I visit.
Scary *****

This ignores the fact that the S1 is the greatest deal in cycling, outperforming most mid-level carbon frames for drastically less. Pricing on the top models equals that of most other top carbon frames, especially those coming out of Italy. And the top models are anything but over-rated. I would say the R5 rivals the BMC Impec for the best frame in production, for engineering reasons alone.
Cervelo to me is Porsche. There's a reason tons of people are willing to drop 50 grand on a Boxster: because it drives like a Porsche. Proven heritage, expensive, but absolutely worth the money.

I'd say that the Volvo (and just about any AWD Subaru for that matter) would be a Hybrid (bike).
Pugsley? Ford Expedition.
Capable, burley, awesome.
Not sexy, but it gets the job done.
It's the one you want in a snow storm.

There is no comparison since almost all midrange and even some highend frames are made in 1 of 2 major plants overseas. What we are comparing are basically decals and paint scheme.

We've taken care of the pedestrian makers; Specialized, Giant, Trek, et.al. The fun is where to place the smaller brands like Pegoretti, Parlee, Calfee, Vanilla, etc. There are still a number of car makes that haven't been mentioned like Maybach and TVR (do they still even exist). I haven't seen Mercedes Benz mentioned yet either.
