SRAM Apex (1050) Cassette to Rival/Force (1070) Cassette Comparison

Been a while since I actually started a thread but wanted to put this out there. I noticed a great price on SRAM cassettes lately at a supplier and ran a few. Saw the Apex ones 1050 and decided to get one and compare it to the Rival/Force - 1070 ones.

15g difference on a 11/23. Direct measurement. The 1050 has a heavier lockring. When I switch the lockring they are only 10g apart. That is mostly variance in the cog weights and the difference in using the plastic vs aluminum spacers.

These are the same cassette. Buy the one you get a better price on.

I already use SRAM cassettes due to the lower price than Shimano. I checked their website and found they offer a 12-32, which has the same gearing as my 12-27 with the obvious exception of the last cog. Going from a 24 to a 32 would be quite a bail-out gear. :)
