Garmin Edge 500 New Frimware Released

Notices
Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

Great, just bought an 800 for almost the only reason that the course feature on the 500 seemed helplessly broken from what I've read at the garmin forums. Now to decide if it's worth saving some money and returning the 800 to pick up the 500. Decisions, decisions, ...

I had good luck with 2.4 but will wait a week or two for you beta testers to report in.

The course feature is still busted if your course has too many turns and/or is over 50 miles long. The computer will shut off when you try to go from the bread crumb map to the next page--still does this.

Also, mine has hung up if I keep exceeding the target heart rate zone (i.e., the alarm keeps going off)--at least that's my theory. I need more experiments to prove this one.

Maybe one of you long(er) time users of the Edge 500 or Garmin connect can explain to me the difference between these three times. I've seen these vary between the rides I've taken. Here is an example from my New Years day ride. Solo, fast ride, no stops (except one short stop light).

Time: 01:00:48
Moving Time: 01:00:42
Elapsed Time: 01:03:00

I know the "Time" matched (to the second) the time that I got from my wired Ptap head unit. I figured that "Time" was the timer that I started/stopped at the beginning and end of my ride. What is the elapsed time?
