another pedal question

I was looking on e-bay for some look keo pedals and saw the exustar carbon pedal, the price is right. Does anyone use these pedals? How do like them?

My .02 is to keep looking at Look or any of the other MAJOR brand pedals that are marketed in the US assuming that you are indeed in the USA. My reason for saying that is primarily due to cleat availability. Any decent bike shop will stock Look, Shimano and sometimes Time cleats but not Exustar.

Exustar uses cleats identical to Look. Look Delta cleats work perfectly with Exustar.

Good to know but I still stand by opinion to stay with the big players but now I have nothing to back my reasoning up. Thats why I love opinions :)

I've been looking for some Exustar pedals for a good price. I'd buy them, for sure.

Nashbar sells the Exustar pedals, but have them branded with Nashbar on sale for $49 compared to Exustar on Ebay for $69. http://www.nashbar.com/bikes//Produc...2_175240_-1___

Exustars pedal identical to Nashbars Izoard http://www.exustar.com/product_detai...level=2&t1s=16
Its pedal model E-PR101PP

Im with you, Exustar uses bushing / sealed bearings in their pedals. Not a fan of bushings, coz they tend to wear out and then you get a wobbly pedal. But its less than half the price of a Keo 2 Max, so you can replace pedals when cleats wear out.
