Vs said they are airing coverage of the Tour Down Under and I was rather excited until I looked at my tv listings and they are only showing highlights. Does anyone know where I can at least watch some stages of the event. On television or streaming online. I want to see some Team Garmin-Cervelo action.... and maybe a little lance armstrong.. only because he is a native texan

Steephill.tv will have links for whatever is online.. also the TdU site itself might have some of the days live streaming. Cav vs Farrar vs Greipel should be good times on a pretty flat course.

The time difference is pretty tough, so another option would be cyclingtorrents.nl the next day or so. Just stay off the bike websites until you watch so you don't turn into one of those spoiler whiners.

Right now it is Sunday 16 January here in Australia, and in Adelaide it is just past noon. (I live in the Melbourne time zone, and it is 12:40 pm right now)

I hope Versus is still in the process of updating their schedule, but 2011 seems to have less cycling coverage than 2010. No Tour of Flanders, no Tour of Philly, 30 min recaps of Tour Down Under. I hope Versus isn't cutting back on their cycling coverage...

Do you get Universal Sports? They show some good stuff on there, including the Giro with about 95% less fluff than you see on Versus.

You can watch just about anything online if you know where to look, though maybe not always in English.

If it weren't on at Stupid O'Clock, Central time, the Cancer Classic crit might be worth watching. Otherwise, honestly, the TDU is a six-day snooze fest.

Well, it has started ... they're on their last lap. Actually, I suspect they were on their last lap some time ago, but the coverage here is from 7 - 8:30 pm, and it's almost 8:30 pm.
