Buy from VOMax
I feel like a d*ck now for starting that Club Fit thread - that was mainly lighthearted humor but for someone running a small business, I can see how it might come across as being unfair (especially as I didnt email them to try to resolve the issue, mainly cos it wasnt really an issue for me). As someone who runs a small business that relies on its reputation, I can empathize with them.
In any case, the response from the VOMax founder was spectacular.
He offered to send me a replacement, race-fit jersey instead, and that too at no charge - even when I told him I couldnt be bothered sending the current one back.
I'm buying a race-fit jersey from them, and am looking forward to wearing it on my next MUP throw-down with the girl on the beach-cruiser.
Buy his jerseys, people. Even if it isnt Flyers stuff.
And no, I am not being paid for this. I just thought the offer of a free race-cut jersey, without even needing to send the current one back, was an example of superb customer service, going above and beyond what is needed.
Trek, are you listening?

It's what customer service used to look like everywhere. It went out of vogue somewhere in the 70s, I believe. And then it morphed into George Carlin's version by the time the 90s rolled around.

^^ Not really true. Most places I have seen have usually gone above and beyond the norm for customer service (or I've been lucky). Regardless, service levels in the States are far in excess of anything you find elsewhere in the world.
