Torque intervals

With a carbon bike is there a preferred interval where you should go over the bike and check the various bolts for tightness/proper torque? Is this done by time, mileage, whim, or just OCD.

When they start rattling, things start slipping or **** starts falling off, tighten the bolts. Otherwise ride the friggin bike.

and I thought this thread was going to be about muscle tension intervals.

If I don't put a little blue locktight on my stem bolts the two lower ones tend to loosen after each ride. I would suggest loosening eah bolt before re-tightening to avoid over tourqing. I ususally check my stem bolts every couple of rides and the rest maybe once a month.
