Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

Also, like you, I'd be more into house rather than the obnoxiously annoying dubstep/electro fad that is going on right now (some dubstep even invaded Ferry Corstens show last night..wtf??). It's funny how much the sound can change from year to year. Miami WMC 2008 was fantastic, and yet miami WMC this year will make me feel old and outdated. Kids these days....

Anyway, from one bedroom dj to another, keep it up. People are obviously digging it.
its a total fad(dubstep), thats why I love it, getting all I can out of it while im young and its still fun

Take it a step further. You can all get the same podcast and que it up to play at the same time on one of your rides. I don't know what the point of that would be, but what the hell.

Yeah. I really try to lay in the cycling qoutes and make the music always fast paced.

I foresee some interval mixes in the coming weeks for sure.

About dubstep/electro. Dubstep; I am not a huge fan of, but people are WAY into it. Electro: I am pretty into...I like a nice thick bass and the chopped synth patterns.

At times you have to drop things that appease the majority. That being said I actually enjoy all of the mixes even though I am the creator. Even the dubstep.

I saw High Contrast last night...was killer...u dig?

Second afrojack. He's playing here in SPI soonish.

Otherwise, even my kids like to listen to the velobeats podcasts. Keep up the good work.

Faster BPM and definitely second the interval music. It's one of my weak areas I need music to help me work on

New maglia rosa edition

All,

Let's cheer things up a bit.

I made a Maglia Rosa edition of VeloBeats for May.

I personally think it is one of the best yet!

http://soundcloud.com/velobeats/velo...11-maglia-rosa

The audio snippets are plentiful and all Giro related.

check it out!

These podcasts are awesome. Now that I've been riding with these mixes blasting in my eyes, I find it hard to ride without it. DAMN YOU VELOBEATS! The newest mix is definitely on point!
