Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

Again love these mixes. A few suggestion based solely on my personal opinion.

- Need more dubstep (Caspa,Skream,Rusko)
- A little less of the trance-y chick stuff (sounds like a more badass cascada)
- Some glitch stuff would be awesome, kinda like skrillex

Though I am certain you know a hell of a lot more about this genre than I do.

FYI here's a great work-around for burning feeds with soundcloud and adding them to itunes. It would be a great resource if you could integrate this into your site.

ETA: this is a wordpress work-around. not sure what your back-end is built on though.
Hey it is up on Itunes now!

...btw that method sucks I just made the XML by hand and will update it each month by hand.

Could the world (prefix?) "Velo" be overused a little more?

yeah I actually agree...

I was thinking EuroBeats but that kind of puts off a lot of people. I came up with another name but I went with VeloBeats...I actually can't remember the other name.

Velo does mean bike in a number languages and is short for velocipede which means bicycle in number of languages. Perhaps american users are trying to appear a bit more continental?

I think the name is spot on. Same with the music. Nice job getting it up on iTunes. Now you just have to cross-pollinate with other cycling podcasts (i.e. Link love) to build your base.

It's been said a bunch of times already, but thanks for putting it out there. Going on the trainer a little later today, and this will help make 60 minutes a whole lot better. Hit you up on facebook as well.

good concept, but not a fan of all the difference genres mixed into one set. I would prefer to have something with just house and more melodic.

This is GREAT! Ranks up there with the introduction of carbon fiber! Excellent job on the mixes. I like the name Velobeats name too. It's very particular to the cycling segment and makes me feel more "connected". Anyone else listening to it would like it but wouldn't know any better. Let's keep it that way! LOL. Great job and thanks for the music. I still have yet to ride with my new tunes but that will change shortly.
