Folcrum Wheels

I'm looking at a Specialized Roubaix and it comes with Folcrum Racing 4 wheels. A check of the Folcrum website does not show a "4". Another Specialized bike comes with a "6" which is also absent from the site.

Obviously, these are proprietary and made (or just labeled) for Specialized. Does anyone know if the "4" is just a relabled "3" or "5"? If not, does anyone know its specs?

Any general opinions on the Folcrum line of wheelsets?

Thank you.

4 seem to spec out as the 5s and the 6s the 7s.

Fulcrum

Thank you for your reply. Just wondering where you saw the specs for the 4.

MAK, Do a search. I remember coming across a post in these forums not too long ago where someone detailed the specifics for the 4 that Fulcrum supplies to Specialized. If I remember correctly - spokes and rims are the same as a 5, but it uses the same hub as a 3, or something similar . . .

I've got 670 miles on the 7's, I like them so far. They are staying true, seem pretty strong (I weigh 200 lbs) and roll easy without much friction loss in the bearings. Good price too, I've seen the wheelset on sale for $150.

I have the 4's they are great. Light too. I got them on my Tarmac Expert, but I have yet to show it off in a thread.

Actually I did do a search. The problem is that searches are useless if you spell something wrong. My fault, I spelled Fulcrum, Folcrum.

You remember correctly.

Also, the Fulcrum "6" is the "5" hub and "7" rim. Also not on the Fulcrum site.
These are wheels made for Specialized.
