I was not complaining but rather commenting on the lack of consistency. What would I have you do? Already answered that in an earlier thread. Leave the threads alone. People post in the Road Cycling forum for a reason. A sense of community is one. We share like interests. When in other threads this commonality is shifted a bit. Not saying I don't like other forums but I prefer staying in this one.
So please believe me when I say that we are not trying to make things bad in here for people. We have tried to have a good mix, which is why Addiction and Twitter Feed are left alone. But when it gets to be more of a foo type forum with complaints then we have to start allowing this place to get back to what it was meant to be about - road cycling. It's not an easy task and there are times when one person will get upset but that one person vs a whole handful of people that point out it doesn't belong here....well, the moderation team is doing what they feel is best for the forum as a whole. As for the cleansing thread, it was a fantastic topic but it started to become silly (foo-like) with people quoting themselves when the topic was indeed an interesting one. I had posted to please keep it on topic for I'm sure others would love to hear the responses. It continued to contain silly posts, therefore it was moved to Foo. When you get a chance, try to go over the thread again and maybe you'll understand why it was moved. Please keep in mind that we don't just go into a thread and take action, it's usually reported before we even discuss it. This thread, is about THIS forum and because of its novelty was left to be enjoyed amongst those that would appreciate it most. |
PCAD, that was awesome! Man, if they ever ban you, I think I'll never come back. You're the only thing left that's interesting here anymore.

Sometimes thoughts that I put onto the computer are lost in translation, the hint of humor or intended sarcasm is missed. It's probably my fault for not being a better writer. Along the same line, my wife daily admonishes me as I am leaving for work ...." Don't joke with the nurses, they never know when you are kidding". |

I think it's funny when threads are locked or moved randomly. I like drama.

I suspect. |
This would be a lot more believable if the Rhodes Scholarship searchable records database included anything whatsoever from Notre Dame University. It does not.
