All I can say is Great job.

Or better still this video. I love his subtle smiles...as though he is saying to his hands- "whooh ...slow down there"

True story:
In 1996 I shattered the ends of both long bones in my left forearm in a bike crash, (Colles' fracture). The fracture had been set in out-patient surgery, and I was visiting the doctor on a checkup. Me: "Will I be able to play the piano when the fixator comes off?" Doc (suspiciously): "Could you before?" Me: "Oh, so you heard that one before?" Doc: "Yes, I fell for that *once*." |

I have quite the repertoire.
God help me, it's another hobby I suck at. |
I sucked at building model airplanes too, but I did manage to build 6-7 rather complex models successfully. I'll take that up again when I'm retired. I liked that.
But basically I suck at most things I try. |
In the end though, my unexpected BF Celebrity has been my Saving Grace.

Hey, that's what we're all in this for anyway. |
I shudder to think how many consecutive posts Pcaddy will be making when he actually gets snowed in.:twitchy:

Pcad - got a request.
Jump..... no, not Van Halen. Off the ledge. Into the snow bank. |
Our snow banks here are over my head from the guy who plows the driveway. We're running out of places to put the snow.

Okay, I did and I do- understand what you are saying that is. My apologies if I seemed irate, really I was not.
Sometimes thoughts that I put onto the computer are lost in translation, the hint of humor or intended sarcasm is missed. It's probably my fault for not being a better writer. Along the same line, my wife daily admonishes me as I am leaving for work ...." Don't joke with the nurses, they never know when you are kidding". |
I read page one and page eight - like a lot of the threads I find on BF.
I always dig the 12 bar (it's been my 'default' for a decade now). You gotta do something about that happy voice though. Mean it up a little bit, please. |

Great song. Hell, the Dead had a lot of great friggin songs. You learn a lot of pop/rock songs as an amateur/hack player, and the interesting song writing stands out, the Dead songs are quite unique. Very good song writing.
That's what sucks in today's pop/rock. Most of the song writing blows. Better song writing on the country music side recently in my view. Every now and then I hear a good song, but it was much better in the 90's. I'm not sure what happened, rock isn't so popular now. Oh well. Friggin wussy pop music fairies. Hey, don't get me wrong, I like Maroon 5 as much as the next guy, but it really is wussy music. Hey there's always the Foo Fighters. New Foo album due out this year. |
Me and My Uncle. Let's hear it.
|
I'll work on it later this week. I have a job you know.
