Cassettes for Dura Ace 7800 hub?

Notices
Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

Cassettes for Dura Ace 7800 hub?

Will any Shimano or SRAM 10-speed cassette fit a Dura Ace 7800 hub? Thanks!

If it is a Dura-Ace 7800/7801 with the tall splines and alloy freehub body, only Dura-Ace or Ultegra 10-speed will work. I have used a 6700 cassette on a 7801 freehub so I am assuming a 7900 10-speed will also work.

SRAM will not be compatible.

How about a 105 10-speed cassette circa 2007?

The 105 10sp also fit the tall-spline alloy cassette bodies, so there's one more option.

Yes, it just has to be Shimano 10-speed--no exceptions. Most people just get Ultegra because it's basically the same price.

Thanks all.

I already have a low mileage 105 cassette on the wheels I'll be swapping out, and had read on the net that the 7800's tall splines limited options.

Dura Ace if the OP wants to save avg. 50 grams for compatible set-up.
Ultegra if he wants a bullet proof longer lasting cassette.
I got a 6600 cassette for my DA7800 group.
