Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

Slimline 18 Cadence computer

Has any one used this computer? It says it measures cadence but the more I look at it's specifications I'm not so sure it does. I've done a search on the site, there's one post that covers it but it never got a reply.

To answer any one who searches forSlimline 18 Cadence computer in the future.
I went on and ordered it and it does in fact have cadence and speed simultaneously..
It uses duel wired hall effect sensors. One for the wheel data and one that mounts to the crank for cadence data....
With a short test ride, looks to work well.

I don't know what the cost is for that but the Garmin 305 with the cadence option is a great all around unit and gives you lots more info and is up loadable to various sport web sites like Training Peaks or Garmin connect. where you can keep track of your training. The 305 is not much money for what you get and is a great little unit.
