Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

Should I...

...buy tubes that are listed under Winter Clearance Blowout Category?

Sorry, I couldn't help myself.

I've had such bad luck with budget tubes, the category would be more like a guarantee to me.

It depends, do you like guaranteed rest stops every ride?

They should be fine, just make sure you fill them with winter air.

Probably, since I just got my winter shoes 40 days after ordering them.
But with all the storms, I've hardly been able to ride anyway.

Padumpum!

On that note...

Why do we park in driveways and drive on parkways?

Hi urbanknight, that's why I haven't pulled the trigger on them.

Hey kleinboogie, I stopped riding all versions of Michelin Pro Race tires because they got too expensive. I did like the original Pro Race tires though.

Velo Vol, winter was very early in SoCal this year. February is typically the wettest month of the year, but so far no rain and none in the 10-day forecast.

Homebrew01, it took a very long time for me to get my December order from the UK too. However, my January order arrived in a week as has been usual.
